The Blakeworth philosophy has stemmed from this phrase, if you'll excuse the pun. It is the core belief and want for all our products to live up to this bold statement. We had a desire to push our philosophy further than just our local market and so we set upon a journey to supply the very finest bouquet arrangements to the widest possible audience using the internet. It was our mission to provide those who wished to buy fine flowers from a brand who had a deeper understanding of design, quality and presentation with an on-line shop boasting the simplest, most easy to use shopping facility. We recognise that a large number of our customers would not have a masters degree in computer sciences so it had to be simple if we are to bring those customers back time-and-again. This was our remit and we trust that working with our florists and technicians, we've managed to achieve our aim.

By providing flower delivery by post we are able to keep all of our floristry services in-house and so avoid the pit-falls of the more traditionally accepted methods of sending flowers for distant friends. The downside of the traditional delivery method is that many flower shops provide flower delivery to other parts of the UK by utilising the services of flower shops that are local to the delivery address. Principally, as soon as the order has been handed to an unknown florist at the other end of the country, then quality control is lost. This type of process has too many stake holders that have to take a profit which so often can result in rather unsatisfactory flowers being delivered.
